Beckenham - THE FITTER SCHOOLS UK CHALLENGE

Pupils from St. Mary's Catholic Primary School, Beckenham have been put through their paces on a Military Boot Camp, designed to improve children's fitness. The event, organised by Amida Racquets and Fitness Spa, was part of the Fitter Schools UK Challenge 2008, which gives schools the chance to win sports equipment and encourages children to lead healthy lifestyles. During the exercise, the children enjoyed the fun military-style activities, including scrambling through army nets and marching around the school field chanting customized army songs.
